The Data Center Boom

The United States’ data center market continues to grow at a steady pace. The rapid advancement of technology coupled with an increasing reliance on the internet in our every day lives both personally and professionally including participating in social networking has fueled the data center boom.

The proportion of companies that plan to expand data centers rose four percentage points, to 85 percent, this past year, according to San Francisco-based Digital Realty.
