609 Main at Texas

There may soon be yet another construction crane dotting the Houston skyline and unlike the most recent to pop up, this one won’t be in the Energy Corridor, Galleria or the Woodlands. Houston’s robust economy and healthy office market is driving a wave of new office construction.

Hines has long been rumored to have another major office tower under design for Houston’s Central Business District . 609 Main at Texas  is now being marketed to tenants and brokers and is currently in the schematic design phase.

The building size is currently projected at 41 stories totaling 815,000 square feet with a target completion date as early as the end of 2016. Some of the notable features include fully accessible under floor HVAC distribution and a 30,000 square foot urban rooftop garden.
