This Week in the Economy

All three indexes suffered the largest weekly decline of 2012 and on Friday, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics issued a disappointing jobs report for March. On the commercial real estate front REIS reported U.S. office market posted its fifth straight quarterly gain in net occupancy in the first quarter. In Houston the office market posted strong gains in absorption and rent growth in the first quarter.
