Completed in 1983 by Century Development, Wells Fargo Plaza was designed by Skidmore Owings and is a two-time winner of Houston BOMA’s “Building of the Year,”

Wells Fargo Plaza is distinguishable by its sleek, blue-green curtain wall and crisp, white, halo lighting that lines the top of the building at night. Additionally, some of the building’s captivating features are highlighted by its very own Waterwall Plaza, a unique component to downtown in that it is the only one of its kind. Finished with Italian granite and featuring two shining, black granite waterwalls, this charming outdoor patio provides a tranquil setting for eating or relaxing. The building’s exquisite architectural design is further highlighted by three two-story lobbies including two sky lobbies appointed with the finest Italian marble, stainless steel, and glass

The project features Houstonian Lite a 16,000 square foot state of the art health club facility located on the 14th floor. The basement garage at Wells Fargo Plaza contains 428 parking spaces and there are an additional 1,100 tenant parking spaces available at the 1400 Louisiana Garage and 500 additional spaces at the 777 Clay Garage, both are connected to the building via climate controlled tunnel system

This building was awarded an Energy Star label in 2009 for its operating efficiency.
