Stocks Show End the Week Down

All three indexes finished the week lower ending a tough month for stocks. The Nasdaq was down 1.86% for the week. The Dow lost 1.33%, while the S&P retreated 1.84%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 lost between 3% and 4.5% this month. The Nasdaq fared better in August, dropping just 1%.
