The Tallest Building in Oklahoma

Devon Energy officials announced at the company’s 40th anniversary celebration that its headquarters building, though still under construction, is officially Oklahoma City’s tallest structure. The pace of work on the $750 million, 50 story tower is such that a new floor is completed almost weekly in order to finish the project by 2012. The 850-foot building will be Oklahoma’s tallest when it’s finished, surpassing the 667-foot-tall, 52-story BOK Tower in Tulsa.
