Nassau Bay Town Square adds Office Component
Griffin Partners plans a December groundbreaking for a new 102,000 square foot office building that will go up in Nassau Bay Town Square. The four story 102,000 square feet office building will come out of the ground 60 percent pre-leased. The lead tenant is Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation. Additional tenants committed to the project include Keller Williams-Clear Lake/NASA, Texas American Title and Maxim Insurance. Completion of the LEED-Silver office project is expected next September.
Nassau Bay Town Square is located at the intersection of NASA Parkway & Upper Bay Road, directly across the main gates of Johnson Space Center.
Griffin Partners broke ground earlier this year on 25,000 square feet of retail space in in the mixed use project, which is near completion. Already complete are Martin Fein Interests’ multifamily project, Voyager at The Space Center, and the extension of Saturn Lane. Norris Conference Centers has signed a lease for a 27,000 square foot facility and Marriott Hotels continue to work their plans for a mid-rise hotel. A second office project, a 6-story, 160,000 square foot building is slated for for the project.
