CRE Prices Post Modest Increase in 4Q

CoStar Group released the Commercial Repeat Sale Indices (CCRSI) for February with data through December 2011 this week and reports a modest increase in CRE prices during the fourth quarter as pricing leveled of in December. Apartment and Office properties were the sectors that posted the strongest CRE pricing recovery in 2011 according to the report. Investor interest in office property also rebounded in 2011, with the office property index increasing by 17.3% since the end of March 2011.
