This Week in the Economy

All three major indexes ended lower for the second week in a row. The Dow lost 1.23% for the week, while the NASDAQ was down 0.09% and S&P 500 retreated 1.14%. Despite two weeks of net losses, all three indexes ended May in the black. The Dow and S&P 500 both gained about 2%, while the Nasdaq advanced nearly 4%.
