This Week in the Economy

All three major indexes ended higher for the week. The Dow rose 1.09% this week, while the S&P 500 edged up 1.51%. The Nasdaq ended the week up 1.39%. The Dow, which has been trading at record highs since early March, rallied more than 11% for the quarter. The S&P 500 rose 10% and the Nasdaq was up 8% in Q1-13.
