This Week in the Economy

The Dow and S&P 500 finished higher this week on reports of strong corporate earnings. The Dow rose 1.4%, while the S&P 500 climbed 0.6%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq finished lower for a third straight week, dipping 0.4%. On the commercial real estate front the Architectural Billing Index remained in positive territory for the 5th consecutive month.
