This Week in the Economy

Real economic activity data that have been released in August and September have been mostly downbeat, with a few exceptions. Financial markets have stabilized, but at a moderate level of stress. On the commercial real estate front the Architectural Billing Index took a surprising upward turn and Moody’s reported commercial real estate prices increased 5% in June.
