End of Week Rally Pushes Stocks Higher

The Dow and S&P 500 ended the week in positive territory for the first time in three weeks on the heels of a late week rally. The Dow gained 1.09% for the week, while the S&P 500 gained 0.75%. The Nasdaq declined 0.42% for the week. Several economic reports continued to be delayed due to the government shutdown.
